PURCELLVILLE — James Wood’s season came to an end with a loss to Woodgrove in the Conference 21 quarterfinals.

James Wood (12-10) led 14-10 after one quarter, 26-25 at the half and 37-36 after three quarters, but the Wolverines outscored the Colonels 21-14 in the fourth quarter.

Woodgrove will travel to face Millbrook in the semifinals at 7 p.m. Thursday.

James Wood was led by Keiana Brooks (13 points, seven rebounds, four assists, three steals), Whitney Dick (10 points, five rebounds, five steals, three assists), Kaitlyn Crane (10 points) and Danielle Rizzari (six points, five assists).
