GIRLS’ BASKETBALL - Colonels 56, Hawks 24

FRONT ROYAL — James Wood jumped out to a 19-6 lead in the first quarter and never looked back in a Northwestern District win over Skyline on the road Friday.

The Colonels (7-2, 1-1 Northwestern District) got a game-high 16 points and six steals from junior Keiana Brooks and senior Danielle Rizzari added 12 points and six assists in the victory.
