Pioneers race past Colonels

WINCHESTER — The Millbrook High School girls’ basketball team extended its winning streak to 13, and it came much easier than the Pioneers ever imagined it would against Frederick County-rival James Wood.

Junior forward Lacey Harris scored 21 points to lead three Pioneers in double figures as Millbrook routed James Wood 71-29 in Tuesday night’s Northwestern District game at Casey Gymnasium.
