Girls' Basketball - Colonels 62, Falcons 50

BOONSBORO, MD. — Keiana Brooks’ all-around effort fueled James Wood to a triumph over Poolesville, Md., in the semifinals of the Boonsboro Tournament.

The Colonels were outscored 32-25 in the first and third quarters, but held a whopping 37-18 edge in the second and fourth periods.

Brooks made 7 of 10 shots from the floor for 21 points, while adding nine rebounds, seven assists and six steals. Grace Greene had 15 points and 11 rebounds, while Amanda Christian netted 13 points.

Erin Green netted 21 points for Poolesville.
