Girls' Basketball - Brooks Hits 1,000 Points In Wood Win

HAGERSTOWN, MD. — James Wood senior girls’ basketball guard Keiana Brooks surpassed 1,000 career points in a 84-63 win over St. James (Md.) Monday night.
Brooks had 987 career points coming into Monday, and she scored her 1,000th just before the end of the first half en route to a 25-point night on 6-of-12 shooting from the floor and 12-of-19 shooting from the free-throw line. Brooks added 13 assists, eight rebounds and three steals.
The Colonels (8-4) outscored the Saints 24-11 in the first quarter. Amanda Christian had 16 points and two steals, Amber Wooldridge had 14 points, four assists, two steals and two blocks, Grace Greene had 11 points and 11 rebounds and Hannah Arnold had nine points, 13 rebounds, five blocks and three assists.
