WINCHESTER — Madison Shifflett scored 29 points to help East Rockingham edge James Wood in a non-district contest at Shirley Gymnasium on Saturday.

East Rockingham led 35-30 at the half, but the Colonels rallied to tie it at 50 heading into the fourth quarter.

Natalie Jenkins added 14 points for the Eagles.

Keiana Brooks led James Wood with 21 points, nine assists and four steals. Amber Wooldridge added 15, including five 3-pointers, and Grace Greene finished with 10 and eight rebounds for the Colonels.
