GIRLS’ BASKETBALL - Colonels 61, Applemen 41

BOONSBORO, Md. — James Wood blew open a tight game in the third quarter and cruised behind an outstanding all-around game from Amber Wooldridge against Musselman in the Boonsboro Tournament.

The Colonels led 24-21 at the half, but took control by outscoring Musselman 18-5 in the third period.

Wooldridge led the Colonels with 24 points, seven rebounds, five assists and three steals. She also blocked two shots.

Makayla Firebaugh added 15 points and four assists. Hannah Burke was a perfect 4 for 4 from the floor in netting nine points.
