WINCHESTER — James Wood outscored Clarke County 34-12 in the first half — including 16-2 in the second quarter — to earn a season sweep of the Eagles on Friday.

The Colonels (6-1) were led by Amber Wooldridge (20 points, two steals), Makayla Firebaugh (15 points, 12 rebounds, five assists, five steals), Savannah Swanner (seven points, eight rebounds, two steals), Emma Van Horn (seven points, two steals, two assists, two blocks) and Jenny Kerns (seven steals, two assists).
