Class 4 Northwestern District Team - Girls' Basketball

Handley sophomore Reagan Edsell was named Class 4 Northwestern District Player of the Year and the Judges’ Katlyn Orndorff was named Coach of the Year in voting by the league coaches that was released on Wednesday.

Edsell, a post player, and Orndorff helped the Judges complete a 21-0 regular season, including an 8-0 mark in the district.

Corin Edsell (Sr., G) and Olivia Jett (Jr., G) joined teammate Reagan Edsell on the First Team. Other First Team selections were: James Wood: Brooklynn Medina (Sr., G), Josie Russell (Jr., C); Millbrook: Jaliah Jackson (Jr., C); Sherando: Josie Williett (Sr., G) and Asia Williams (Sr., G).

Second Team selections were: Handley: Cameron Hobson (So., G); James Wood: Nayah Edwards (Jr., G); Maddie Shirley (Jr., G); Millbrook: Jada Arrington (Jr., G); Valentina Burrill (Sr., F); Michaela Owens (Sr., G); Sherando: Farren Christ (Jr., G).

Honorable mention picks were: Handley: Reese Craig (Fr., C); Khadijah Long (Sr., G); Millbrook: Jane Moreland (So., F); Hailey Williams (Sr., G); Sherando: Paige McKee (Sr., F).
