Girls' basketball: James Wood 55, Central 46

WOODSTOCK — Josie Russell had 24 points and eight rebounds to lead James Wood past Central on Monday, the third straight win for the Colonels.

James Wood (3-1) trailed 14-7 after one quarter but outscored the Falcons 22-5 in the second quarter for a 29-19 lead. The Colonels led 40-33 after three quarters.
