Girls' basketball: Riverside 50, James Wood 47

LEESBURG — Despite another double-double by Josie Russell, James Wood suffered their second consecutive loss on Monday, falling to Riverside 50-47.

Russell finished with a career-high 32 points and 10 rebounds for her eighth straight double-double, as the Colonels fell to 5-3. Wood led 10-7 after the first quarter, 25-16 at halftime and trailed 29-30 after the third quarter.
