Girl's Swimming - Wood goes 1-1 in meet

MANASSAS PARK — James Wood defeated Manassas Park 187-78 but lost to Kettle Run 169-106 in dual meet action on Friday night at the Manassas Park Community Center.

Event winners — James Wood: 50 freestyle: Paige Simko, 26.39; 200 IM: Kimberly Warnagiris, 2:15.64; 100 fly: Warnagiris, 1:01.66. James Wood was also led by Simko (200 free, 2nd, 2:03.14), Grace Lilly (500 free, 3rd, 6:55.98) and Rachel Cavanagh (100 backstroke, 3rd, 1:12.65).
