Emma De Jong

Sherando — Sophomore

In the Class 4 state meet, placed 9th in 100 breast and 14th in 200 IM. Region 4C: Champion in 100 back and 5th in 50 free. Class 4 Northwestern District: Champion in 200 IM and 100 free. Led area in 100 back and 100 breast. Ranked 2nd in 50 free, 100 free and 200 IM. Ranked 3rd in 200 free and 400/500 free.

Sophia Deem

Clarke County — Sophomore

In the Class 2 state meet, placed 2nd in 50 free (all-state) and 3rd in 100 free (all-state). Region 2A-2B: Champion in 100 free and 2nd in 100 back. Bull Run District: Champion in 50 free and 2nd in 100 free. Led area in 50 free and ranked 3rd in 100 free.

In the Class 4 state meet, tied for 10th in the 100 back and took 12th in the 500 free. Region 4C: 3rd in 100 back and 4th in 500 free. Class 4 Northwestern District: 2nd in 500 free and 100 back. Led area in 400/500 free and and ranked 2nd in 100 back.
