Local Wrestling Teams Compete At WRAL Invite

RALEIGH, N.C. — The Sherando and James Wood wrestling teams competed in the WRAL Invitational Tournament in Raleigh, N.C., over the weekend.

The Warriors scored 56 points as a team to place 21st out of 37 teams.

Senior Daniel Mullaney placed third at 160 pounds and junior Jacob Guthridge took sixth at 120 pounds for Sherando.

The Colonels finished with 39 points as a team to place 29th.

Sophomore James Woznak took fourth at 106 pounds and senior Erik Bearer placed fifth at 285 pounts for James Wood.
