Wrestler Mark Thomas returns from post-concussion syndrome

Winchester — When it comes to wrestling, Greg Walker has learned he can always count on enthusiasm from senior Mark Thomas.
For example: The first tournament of James Wood’s season this month at Forest Park High School in Woodbridge, when Thomas had his SAT college-admission exam on the morning of the event’s second day.
“I turn around and the next thing I know he’s walking in the door,” said Walker, the Colonels’ coach. “One speeding ticket later.”
That sort of commitment made it easy for Walker to realize that something was wrong with his 119-pound wrestler last season.
