By WALT MOODY | The Winchester Star
James Wood High School 18-year-old senior
Sport: Wrestling
Position: 170 pounds.
Parents: Christa and Wayne Eichelberger.
Hometown: Wayne, Pa.
What do you love about wrestling: It’s a competitive sport and it’s all you. There’s no one else.
Most memorable moment in wrestling: My freshman year and I first made it onto the varsity team. I liked the crowd and I love the coaches. I’ve loved all of my coaches.
Most embarrassing moment in wrestling: Getting tech-falled. I’ve been pinned but I find getting tech-falled more embarrassing, actually.
Three people you can have dinner with, dead or alive: Will Smith, he’s my favorite actor. He’s amazing and a good role model; Lil Wayne, I do like his music; and Donald Trump, I just would like to learn his way of business, honestly. He knows what he’s doing I guess.
Favorite superhero: Superman. He’s just Superman. He’s awesome.
Food you can’t do without: Pork chops and filling balls. It’s something my mom makes and it’s my favorite food. It’s the stuffing you get rolled in a ball with pork chops and cream of chicken soup.
Favorite teacher: Coach [Cory] Crenshaw. He’s my wrestling coach and I get along with him. He’s a good teacher [chemistry] and a coach.
Favorite athlete: James Wood assistant wrestling coach Mark Bean
Favorite team: Minnesota Vikings
Favorite movie: “Pursuit of Happyness”
Favorite TV show: “Walking Dead”
Favorite song: I don’t have one. I just like classic rock & roll.
Favorite ice cream flavor: Strawberry. I like Pack’s.
Plans after high school: I was thinking about going into the military and I was also talking to my coaches about wrestling in college. It’s kind of either or. I haven’t quite figured it out yet. I like the idea [of the military]. I have had a lot of family members who have been in it and they all say it’s been a good experience for them. [If I go to college] I’d like to study archeology. I find it interesting and fun.
