Crenshaw’s outlook: “It is going to be hard to replace the points that our graduates gave us every week, but I feel that our returning athletes will find a way to do so. We do not have standout athletes as we have had in the past. We have a group of guys that work hard and push each other. All but one of our starting athletes have some varsity experience to help us start the season. With all the young guys on our roster, I see our lineup going through some changes as the year progresses.
“We had some very competitive wrestle-offs to start out the year. We have depth with some young talent to help push us along through the season. As long as we stay healthy and the guys keep pushing each other in the room, I think we may surprise a few people. We just need to stay optimistic and take advantage when we have the opportunity.”
