WRESTLING - Colonels capture Horz Invitational

BERKELEY SPRINGS, W.Va. — James Wood won three weight classes on the way to capturing the team crown at the Max Horz Border War Invitational, which concluded on Saturday.

The Colonels piled up 260.5 points to edge host Berkeley Springs (258.0). Hedgesville (174.5) was a distant third in the 14-team field.

Individual wins by Josh Arce (120), Corey Lemons (132) and Aaron Curd (152) propelled the Colonels to the title. Vince Caruso (113) placed second, while teammates Joey Vitola (138), Sam Adkins (145), Luke Roy (220) and Kobey Brook (285) each placed third. Jack Youngblood (160) and Paul Ebersole (170) took fourth.
