Colonels go 4-1 in duals

PURCELLVILLE — Josh Arce went 5-0 with five pins at the 120-pound weight class to help James Wood goo 4-1 in the Loudoun Valley Duals on Saturday.

The Colonels opened the meet by defeating Potomac Falls (67-11), Loudoun Valley (45-27) and Briar Woods (60-16). They fell against Mountain View (39-29), but rebounded with a win over Falls Church (65-12).

Luke Roy (4-0 at 195) also was unbeaten for the Colonels. Sam Adkins (145). Aaron Curd (152), Paul Ebersole (170), Jared King (182), Kobey Brooker (220) and Brayden Patterson-Campbell (285) each went 4-1.
